教授这么回了= =是不是可以换一个新的开始了

I appreciate your interest in our program. For you to work with me or any of the other CU ECEE faculty you would need to apply to the graduate program of the Department of ECEE through the usual process, and become accepted as a student at the University of Colorado. Instructions and related information are provided at ece.colorado.edu .

Note that I do not normally engage incoming students in my laboratory until they have completed at least one semester at CU in excellent standing, and have demonstrated competence in research in areas relevant to one or more of CET's interests. That said, I have had many successful graduate students completing their M.S. thesis within my lab.

现在我都有点搞不懂了....faculty committee到底是怎么评的呢= = 是导师不想要我，还是说是根据三围来评判，录了之后再自己找导师？求大神指点！！
