Thanks for your email and interests. First one thing I want to emphasize: CS is currently the most popular engineering major (but also the toughest) in US. You have to work much harder than people in other majors. Hope that you understand this before you make your decision.

I noticed that you have touched Machine learning from Deep learning. My research in Machine learning is more related to computation and theoretical analysis. Simply speaking, my work is trying to provide new technologies and theories rather than using existing tools. It might be kind of different from what you are doing now. I am wondering if you mind changing your direction.
