【问】transcript和academic records是一样还是不一样？

求过来人解释！NJIT的checklist有这么两条:
Official secondary school transcript translated into English (or a notarized copy)
Certified translations of all academic records in a language other than English (must come from a university-recognized agency)



这两个有什么区别？notarized copy (translated into English)和certified translation不是一个意思？Academic records不就是transcript吗？
