*** was very interested in the covered topics. His work was of very good quality and he finished with an above average grade for the course.
*** is a motivated, hardworking, and a forthcoming person and it was a pleasure to have him as a student.

先说下个人想法，我觉得因为只有上课交流的原因，所以老师只是对我的基本情况进行了评判，因为国外的老师都非常的礼貌，不知道这样的It was a pleasure等的用词在推荐信中是否有效。这是否也就是之前一个帖子说的：Do well in class，并不是positive的推荐信
