有个问题想请教一下大家的看法
今天查email 收到NEU 的一封邮件 内容如下
Dear xxx,
The Northeastern University Graduate School of Engineering cordially invites you to attend our annual Graduate Candidate Day on Thursday, March 5 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and Friday March, 6 from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (or until done).
Graduate Candidate Day attendance offers you the opportunity to meet with current students and faculty, and to visit Northeastern's Boston campus, if you are unfamiliar.
The event will kick-off on Thursday night at 5:00 PM with a social gathering at the Curry Student Center, where you will meet our current students, faculty and other prospective students.
On Friday, registration and breakfast will be in the Curry Student Center Ballroom beginning at 8:30 AM. The agenda for the day will include a welcome from the Dean of Engineering, a current student panel, a campus or lab tour, lunch, and department-specific sessions with faculty and current students. For planning purposes, attendees should plan to stay until the early evening as some departments may arrange for dinner or a social outing.

大概1周前收到一封邮件说会在几周后知道结果, 提醒我2/12号这天学校会给TOP Candidates 发出 open house invitation. 总之语意应该不是所有人都会被邀请..
问题来了！！！大家觉得这个邮件对admission有意义吗？ 据我所知NEU engineering department 还没有发任何rej/offer/ad..如果我去了结果却不录取我.......
希望大家给点意见！
