The Pervasive Communications Laboratory at Clemson University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in a broad area of Distributed Systems and Computer Networks, including Cloud computing, Big data, Security, Mobile computing and Wireless networks.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
; Conducting independent and collaborative research in the areas of Distributed Systems and Computer Networks;
; Closely working with the project PI;
; Co-supervising project team members and research students with the PI on related projects;
; Participation in conferences, seminars and other activities of the research group;
This position requires that the candidate hold a PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with strong analytical and implementation skills. Strong background in optimization techniques and modeling is also required.
A strong publication record in the related areas is desirable. A high communication ability in English writing and oral presentation is preferred.
The term is 1 year with the possibility to renew contingent upon satisfactory progress.
