在2月份的时候有Prof. Zanjani的Skype面试，然后昨天终于按耐不住发了邮件过去问，然后以下是他的回复
We have extended several offers, and I regret to report that your name was not selected for our initial set of invitations. You are, however, on our "short list" and will be considered if any of our offers are rejected, should you still be available. Thanks for your interest in our program.
目前两个Rej 还有4所没消息 所以这个是暂时的希望了。。忧伤。。求大家帮忙分析下他的“Short List” 是几个意思啊？是希望还蛮大的么？我应不应该发邮件去表表决心什么的呀？谢谢啦！
