套磁的教授A是从CS转到数学系的，做的比较偏计算，还比较积极。

年前系里通知有个中国教授B来北大，可以去聊聊，去了之后发现就算个面试，面试的还不错

之后A说想跟我打电话聊聊，说完之后就没消息了（不打了也不告诉我，这素质），已经快一个月了，突然告诉我在WL上，

  1. If you decide to go to another graduate program, then just reply to this email to withdraw your application at Illinois. (The other students on the wait list appreciate it when you inform us of your intentions!)

  3. If Illinois remains one of your top choices, then let me know and I'll add that information to your file.

UIUC 数学系如何啊，不过这个也不太算数学，有点儿算cs了，毕竟教授在cs干了二十多年（前20年在工业界），到数学系才几年。
