T口语硬伤，也是OSU迟迟不给offer的原因。为此给OSU的vice chair发过email去argue。之后荣幸成为OSU众多math PhD申请者中唯一参加Skype Oral Proficiency Assessment test的人。
大一解析几何的老师是OSU的professor，2005-2008还是副主任。他对我的申请很关心，专门找vice chair讨论过关于我的申请（在我寻求他的帮助之前）。
4.15ddl之后的第一天，offer总算来了：
a stipend of at least $1,950 per month on entry for a nine months period. The stipend is raised to
at least $2,140 per month after passing our qualifying requirements in real analysis and abstract
algebra, and to at least $2,260 per month after passing the doctoral candidacy examination
