Students in this program can look forward to careers such as clinical or application analysts, working with clinicians and development groups to create technologies that best meet the needs of users. Success in this program also provides an academic lead-in to the PhD in Personal Health Informatics, a research-focused, interdisciplinary Ph.D. that combines a strong foundation in human-computer interaction interface technology and experimental design in health sciences with a research program focused on exploring how technology designed with a patient- or person-facing perspective might transform healthcare and wellness systems.[/align]
