PhD student position in Biological Sciences available at Louisiana State University.
One or more PhD student positions are available in Dr. Yuchen Liu’s laboratory at Louisiana State University to study methane-producing archaea. Initial work will focus on a NSF-funded project to study sulfur metabolic networks in methanogens. This position provides an excellent training opportunity in microbial physiology, genetics, and biochemistry. Additional information of the research group can be found at lsu.edu
Knowledge and research experience in microbiology, molecular biology, or biochemistry are preferred.
