Description
[align="left"]Digital Data Engineering is responsible to deliver state of the art operation data store using technology like ETL tools and NoSql database. [/align]As an Application Developer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. You will participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. You will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules. You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
Qualifications
; 5+ years of Java/J2EE Enterprise Web Development.
; Experience with Apache Camel.
; Ability to develop in all tiers (middleware, integration and database) of the application.
; Deep hands-on experience with Spring framework and Object Oriented methodology of design and development.
; Working experience with JDBC/MyBatis including transaction management, caching and performance tuning.
; Web Services SOA experience (SOAP as well as Restful with JSON formats).
; Experience working with Messaging (IBM MQ, JMS).
; Experience in writing Stored Procedures, functions, SQL queries and backend programming using DB2.
; Experience on NoSQL database is a plus.
; Experience contributing and using core framework components.
; Experience with performance tuning of the application.
; Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and mocking techniques.
; Experience with Camel API
; Experience with Autosys, Ctrl-M or other job schedulers is a plus.
; Experience in agile development practices.

Python Application Developer （This position is based in Brooklyn, NY - Corporation Investment Bank）
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the technical design and development of new software components and applications based on functional specifications
- Lead the design of logical and physical data models supporting all calculation, analytics and reporting business processes
- Lead technical data analysis efforts informing the data model and the overall application design approach
- Responsible for delivering solution design and POC where applicable
- Participate in architecture review and governance process
- Enforce industry and JPMC standards and follow technical trends
- Monitor implementations to help ensure adherence to established standards
- Conduct design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to coding standards
- Provide guidance and oversight to development teams across Capital technology
- Hands on ability to code when required in various technologies such as JAVA, Python, BigData, SQL, etc…
- Delivery of design and software in complex, front-to-back and/or cross-risk stripes projects with high degrees of interdependencies
- Work with the development team to facilitate the Build effort and to ensure successful end-to-End integration / testing
- Develop, track, and publish project status at Working Groups when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of solid hands on development expertise using Java/J2EE/SQL
- Minimum 2+ years of Financial Services experience
- Prior experience working in hands-on Technical Design or Application Dev Lead role/capacity
- Must have strong hand on technical skills in delivering complex multi tier enterprise level J2EE systems
- Should posses excellent object-oriented design skills with strong analytical capabilities
- Strong knowledge of Spring frameworks and leveraging distributed data caching frameworks
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail
- Results and quality driven professional with an ability to analyze and solve complex problems
- Experience with multi tiers and service oriented architecture
- Strong experience with Oracle or similar RDBMS databases
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile development practices.
- Strategic thinking, collaboration and consensus building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and partnership with wider team
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Business Analysis, data analysis and Project Management experience.
- Knowledge of BigData and associated technologies is a plus
- Ability to grasp large amounts of information, and a curiosity to ask appropriate questions to fully develop technical design artefacts.
- Ability to multiple task independently with a fast-paced proactive approach to changing priorities
- Financial products knowledge such as OTC Derivatives, Securities, Repos, Securitization, TCP is a plus
