A Postdoc position is available in power and energy systems at the University of Texas at Dallas. The successful candidate will work with colleagues at NREL, utilities, and ISOs on joint projects, conducting research in the area of solar and wind power forecasting and grid integration. Experience with one or several of the following would be beneficial: renewable energy forecasting, unit commitment and economic dispatch, electricity market design, stochastic modeling, numerical weather prediction, and sky image processing.
