University of Rochester套磁求分析鉴定

小弟昨天给University of Rochester的系主任发了一封套磁信，附了CV。十分钟后系主任回复如下：
I am not planning to take a new PhD student next year because I will be going on sabbatical. Your academic record looks very strong. Have you taken the GREs yet? That would give me some insight into whether you are competitive for a fellowship at the University of Rochester.
半小时后我把GRE成绩单发给他了，然后到今天就没再受到回复了。。。。
我有点搞不懂，她要我GRE评估奖学金干啥？她也不收学生啊。。。。。
我是不是该换个人套套？
我现在纠结的是她的邮件貌似有用又貌似没有，到底可能有什么用？？？？
求大伙帮忙参谋参谋，顺便求米
