Ph.D positions available in CEE department at LSU

Two Ph.D. student positions with full financial support are available in the research group of Prof. Chao Sun at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Louisiana State University. Prospective students with a M.S or B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Coastal and Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture and other related majors are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will work under the advisory of Prof. Chao Sun in the following areas per your interest:
; Vibration control and structural health monitoring
; Coupled dynamics modeling and vibration control of offshore floating wind turbines
; Energy harvesting from ambient vibrations and ocean waves
; Nonlinear vibration modeling
