我想问一下ISE这个专业

各大学校DDL在即，最后关头我突然对UW的ISE犹豫了一下，现在在纠结要不要选它。
我本是CS的，方向machine learning，之前对UW的一些professor的具体方向没有很感兴趣所以就没申，当然当时只看的CS这个院系下的。

但是我的推荐人在写推荐信时，给我推荐了UW的ISE的一个年轻的华人老师。由于这个推荐人是我先前所在学校教研究生凸优化的一个老师，授课方式深入浅出妙趣横生，治学严谨，我对他有一种非常强的信任感。所以这个教授的主页我也看了下，做的东西和我的确是挺match的，而且他本科学的统计，这种背景做ML后坐力会很强。

很可惜！！！当我仔细查ISE的课程的时候，什么玩儿啊？

[align="left"]感觉这无异于转方向了好么，可是这样的一个院系下怎么会有那么倾向machine learning的老师啊！我敢说他如果不在ISE下，在CS下面，我一定一定申UW，因为我不想浪费一年时间上重新上一些我根本不会的课程啊！[/align]
