SOP和PS都要，PS如何写

关于SOP和PS的问题迷糊了很久，今天找到些资料分享下
大部分学校都是要Statement of Purpose或者Statement of Intent，有的网申系统里面写了要Personal Statement，点到program的要求也是要写一个statement purpose出来。在这种层面SOP=PS。
然而最近在申Umich，要求SOP和PS都要提交，之前是早就写好了SOP，然而又该写PS时却无从下手，然后就各种从网上搜集信息，看到一个最全的指导，来自UMich官网还附有sample，大家可以参考看哦~
另外之前以为有了SOP主要讲学术了PS这种好像diversity essay的就随便写写算啦。看到官网的小提示觉得还是要认真搞搞。
“Your scholarship essay is a very important part of your application. Through your essay the selection committee is able to see you as more than a GPA or major. A well-written essay allows you to single yourself out from the other scholarship applicants.”
