Hi xxxx,
I have good news. Though still unofficial, I can inform you informally that your admission to our PhD program has been approved by the Grad Admissions Committee. It also comes with an RAship to join the xxxx group.
The department approved your case in the first round itself (what we call the "Superstar" round), which shows that we really consider you to be a top student in the world this year!
Congrats! You will hear officially from the department soon (when the paperwork gets processed).
应该是unofficial的offer了，正式offer之后再发。终于可以放宽心了~
由于比较早，所以定位啥的之后再发吧。
