I regret to inform you that we are unable to admit you into the Master of Science in Intelligent Information Systems (MIIS) degree program offered by Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science. We received over 200 applications to this program, many of whom are highly qualified, and have good academic records and recommendations. Unfortunately, our graduate program can accommodate only a limited number of new students, thus we were unable to accept many applicants who might have done well in the program.
