One Ph.D. RA position available in ECE Department at University of Kentucky

Currently, there is one Ph.D. RA position available in the area of electric motor drives and power electronics. The requirements for this position are given as follows:

School: ECE Department, University of Kentucky, USA

Advisor: Prof. Dan Ionel, Professor, IEEE Fellow, Former Chief Scientist with Vestas and Engineering Fellow with A.O.Smith (very rich industry experience and wide industry social connections)

Scholarship: Sufficient RA scholarship through the whole Ph.D. periods.

Research Area: electric machines and power electronic drives, electric power systems, electromagnetic devices, smart grids and buildings, sustainable and renewable energy technologies

Requirements: GPA>3.5, good TOEFL and GRE scores (should at least meet the greaduate school minimum requirement), Proficient English for communication, solid background, Candidates with a master degree or certain working experience in power area will be more preferred. Graduates from Chinese 985 Universities are preferred.
