套磁说keep in touch 还有希望么？

lz之前01.15赶着ddl提交了申请，最近几天看学校开始审材料了，给match的教授发了个套磁问还找不着人顺便扔了cv，一个小时内收到回复如下：
I am impressed by your extensive work experienc. Unfortunately, I do not have funding to support another student in my research program at this time. It would not be fair for me to suggest that you start a PhD program without support, but I am actively working to obtain more funding. I will not know about funding for a few more months. Please keep in touch.
这个意思是说得过几个月才能知道有没有钱，可是到时候都过了415了，请问各位小伙伴这种情况怎么keep in touch呢？ 和他说申请已经交了，请他去看看我的package么？
