Due to the large amount of applicants to our department andour limited funding, the department will not be able to provide you any financial aid toward your PhD study for the 2016/17academic year. However, you may be considered in subsequent years should additional funds become available.

Alldoctoral students whose first language is not English must take the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) prior to coming to the UnitedStates. An iBT Speak section score of 25 or less will result in the student’s need to register for one of the three ESL courses.Registration will be mandatory
