Offer和I-20上的专业有差别

已经收到了offer和I-20，但是出现了这样一个情况：我的offer是这样写的："...you are accepted to the department of physics and to the intergrated graduate program in physical and engineering biology..."
事实上，physics是我唯一的专业，那个physical and engineering biology并不是一个独立的项目，有很多系的人参与，最后只是提供一个文凭之外的certificate。然后我的I-20的专业只写了physics，只字未提那个physical and engineering biology。 Offer和I-20各自这样写都有道理，但是问题来了：VO会怎么理解，特别是如果被check的话，这种事情会不会造成什么隐患？我给学校发邮件还没回，实在不行过两天打个电话。

大家有没有过类似的情况，或者有没有什么建议？谢谢！
