PostDoc Researcher Position

Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the Micro/Nano Transport and Printed Devices lab in the area of inkjet printing, ink/substrate interactions, and printed electronics. The candidate is expected to perform experimental study on printing new functional materials, device design, and performance characterization. The requirements are listed according to the order of importance: (1) Fundamental fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and mass transport; (2) Inkjet printing experiences or other related printing and patterning experiences; (3) Hands-on experience in morphology characterization of nanostructured materials, e.g. SEM, TEM, AFM, confocal microscopy, etc.; and (4) Familiar with printed electronics design and electrical property characterization, etc.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical engineering, Chemical engineering, Material science & engineering, or Electrical engineering.
