语言成绩8.29到期，有效期问题

申请明年入学的，语言成绩明年8.29.到期，这真是个尴尬的时间。有的学校说成绩得是到入学时有效，又没有说具体入学时间，所以就不知道如何判断这个成绩 可不可用了。
搜索之前的帖子看到的一些总结例如说usc，9月之前的都不能用，但是，它那个语言要求里写的是秋季入学的当年8.1.之前有效就行，cs项目关于语言成绩也没有特别说明，所以感到有点疑惑啊，到底是到几号。
Your scores are considered valid only if earned within two years of your intended first term at USC. (For example, no earlier than August 1 two years prior if applying for the fall term.)
有没有人对要求入学有效的具体截止日期有所了解，求分享信息。由于目前用的雅思成绩已经是爆人品考的7.5了，一年没看感觉完全考不到这个分数，所以现在这个问题很关键。
下面这个是问uiuc小蜜的回复，只说了申ta的话得开学有效，是不是不申ta就无所谓了？
Your scores would be acceptable to apply for admission purposes.
If interested in a TA, your scores must be less than two years old before you start your studies at UIUC.
