[align="left"]Ph.D. Research Assistant Position Available for Fall 2017 @Florida Atlantic University:[/align]
[align="left"]Two fully funded (全奖) Ph.D. positions are available for Fall 2017 at the Department of Computer & Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (CEECS) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). For these two Ph.D. positions, we are particularly interested in hiring creative, energetic and persistent students with focus on conducting high-end research in smart grid. Applicants must have a strong grit towards pursuing cutting-edge research culminating in effective engineering solutions and solid technical publications. Specifically:[/align]
[align="left"]1. A Master degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related departments is preferred. Outstanding undergraduate students will also be considered,[/align][align="left"]2. Strong mathematical background and proficient in modeling and simulation in a programming environment, such as Matlab,[/align][align="left"]3. Previous research experiences with power and energy systems, control, optimization, statistics, machine learning, or data mining are preferred, but not required.[/align]
