该怎么准备online meeting啊

今晚发了四封邮件出去，回了两封，虽然其中有一篇是套路，但还是很开心的。
其中一个老师项目非常相关，之前要了我的论文，然后一个月没联系了，今天我催了下他，说是否可以online meeting. 他说good idea，然后就往来几封邮件定了这周四。。。
可是 我该准备什么啊 这几天还好忙其他的事T.T 会不会一面试人家就不喜欢我了 我要怎么准备才能impress他。。。求各路大神指点指点
啊对了，另外一篇是UCSD的一个大神级人物，回的这个：
You are welcome to apply to our graduate program but you should know (and probably already know) that we are not able to fund all of the students whom we would like to admit, so less than 10% of the applicants receive admission and financial support.
我可以怎样继续套他？或者跟他要funding呀 UCSD是committee决定吗？还是教授决定？可以直接问教授要funding吗？
