[stat转CS]有些要求课程没有修过，是不是就没戏了？

我在查看McGill的CS系要求的课程列表：cs.mcgill.ca
Five Core Courses:
cs.mcgill.ca: Introduction to Software System
cs.mcgill.ca: Introduction to the Design and Implementation of Computer Algorithms and Data Structures
cs.mcgill.ca: Data Structures and Analysis of Algorithms
cs.mcgill.ca: Computer Systems
cs.mcgill.ca: Programming Languages
这里面的第一门课和第四门课我没有学过，但是实际上我申请的是Machine Learning方向，所以感觉不是最最必须的内容。他们在成绩单上面没看到这个内容，会导致我直接fail么？还是说尚有一线生机可以和小秘争取？

看到页面底部有一段话，感觉要悲剧了：
If you do not have the background described, please do not apply. We do not offer any qualifying program for students with weak Computer Science backgrounds.
