申请最突出的优势是背景比较相关(申请方向是我本科专业+最近4个月实验室研究方向的交叉结合，比较新兴，我本科系里没人做这个方向的研究的)，其他科研和学术条件平平。项目网页上说是候选人都要经过面试，拒信说不给面试机会，就是拒了。
猜测被拒原因除了自己实力够不上这学校外，也有申请这种大生物的项目命中率<申请本科对口的药学系，不过也仅仅是猜测了。

Your application for admission to the graduate program in Experimental and Molecular Medicine has been considered with great care. We have many outstanding applicants, in fact we actually had a much larger applicant pool this year, which has made it highly competitive, and we can only interview a small fraction. We regret that we are unable to offer you the opportunity to interview for our program.
We realize that this decision will be a disappointment and assure you that the selection process of the program is a careful and thorough one, in fairness to all applicants. We want to wish you well in your future endeavors.
