套磁教授一直这样回复,是不是他也做不了主啊

来龙去脉是这样的, 首先是这个教授反套:

Please let me know so I can share your area of interest and level of interest in attending *** for your PhD studies with my colleagues in the *** program. We are in the process of deciding to which applicants we will offer GRAs.

在我表达了我的想去的意愿之后,他回复:

I will report back to the GRA committee your strong interest in attending *** if you are awarded a GRA slot. I hope to get back to you very soon.

这些都是上周中的事情, 上周周末lz催了他一次,他周日回了一封:

We were supposed to have final decisions on the GRAs last week. I just emailed the
person in charge and hope to get an answer early this week. I will let you know as soon as I know. I hope we can welcome you to the team next Fall.

结果两三天过去了,这都周二了还是没有任何update...

感觉教授的回复一直是positive但是又说话说不准, 从来不放保证什么的, 不知道为什么...难道是committee太强力?虽然有了些保底offer, 但是出于很多原因, lz还是很希望去这个学校的.
