预料中的waiting list，顺便吼一声~

昨晚发邮件问了一下情况，今天早上收到director的邮件，说我被wl了。
We have now made a first set of admission recommendations for PhD applicants to StatSci@Duke, having declined hundreds of applicants. We are now waiting to hear back from several students that have been offered admission. At the same time, we are maintaining a very short waiting list of students-- you are on this waiting list.
Every year, a number of students we welcome to Duke in the following fall are on the waiting list at this stage. We typically go into late March and early April before our final admissions are made. When we receive decisions from students who have been offered admission so far, we will then make (a small number of) additionaladmission decisions in coming weeks.
后面还有好长几段，我就不贴出来了。
在这里顺便问一下，地里各位面过duke的朋友，你们最近有什么新进展吗？以及那些拿到了offer没报的同学，能悄悄告诉我一下吗？我想知道大概的人数。
