不确定导师对于套磁信回复的positive程度

一开始收到AP博导的回复这个Ph.D. funded的项目和我做的研究生项目没有完全直接的关系，不过在后续的email联系中跟她解释了我的研究背景和相关知识是可以和这个博导的项目，而且看了一些这个Ph.D.项目油管的文献，提出了一些我能想到的问题，收到了这样的回复，但是还没有收到这个老师interview的邀请。

“Thank you for the clarification and explanation of your interests. They are in line with the objectives of the project that would fund this position. I will follow up at the beginning of May after reviewing applications.“

不知道这算是positive的回复么？目前可选择的学校只有AD的offer，没有保证的funding，可以继续这个申请么？希望有经验的同学能给点建议。
