Florida International University (FIU)计算机科学与技术(CS)系胡丽婷教授招收2017年秋季或2018年春季入学的博士生。研究方向是分布式系统 (P2P)，大数据分析系统，云计算的资源管理，虚拟化技术 以及数据中心的节能。具体方向包括（但不限于）
; 分布式计算系统对大数据处理和数据挖掘的支持
; Hadoop 和Spark 的数据的locality优化, graph computing 和 textual processing
; Docker Container 和Xen虚拟机的应用程序的性能隔离机制分析
基本要求： CS，CSE, EE自动化等相关专业硕士或者本科学位。985,211 院校硕士毕业生优先（可转学分）。有相关research经验者优先。良好的英语读写能力。良好的编程能力，熟悉JAVA或者C/C++等编程语言。拥有求知欲、学习能力和研究热情；踏实认真的工作态度；独立思考能力；沟通能力和团队合作精神。

Two to three funded PhD student positions, starting in Fall 2017 or Spring 2018, are available in Dr. Liting Hu’s research group in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Florida International University, Miami. Dr. Hu’s research interest is Big Data Processing and Analytics, Resource Management in Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems. She got her Bachelor's degree at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and her PhD at Georgia Tech.
Students with strong coding skills and solid background in Big Data Systems, Distributed Systems and Operating Systems are highly encouraged to apply. Interested students please contact Dr. Hu (1point3acres.com). More information about Dr. Hu and her research can be found on cis.fiu.edu
