Multiple Ph.D. positions with full financial support are now available for Spring 2019 in Dr. Jingtong Hu’s group, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Dr. Hu’s research interests include embedded system, FPGA, emerging memory technology, wearable devices, smart health, and internet of things. The University of Pittsburgh is known for its world-class School of Medicine and top-level School of Engineering, and also benefits from its close connection with the nearby Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). UPitt students are allowed to take any undergraduate or graduate courses at CMU, and hence will have the chance to learn from the world-class researchers in computer science and information systems. Pitt is ranked 47th globally by CWUR and 70th globally by ARWU.
The Computer Engineering program is currently ranked 43rd in U.S. by U.S. News 2018.
