Thisopportunity will involve working with faculty and researchers to compile anexciting database of top Chinese philanthropists and recipient organizations inChina, which seeks to quantify indices related to generosity, diversity, andinnovation in this emerging sector. The first version of the project’s websiteis here: chinaphilanthropy.ash.harvard.edu. [/align][align="left"] [/align][align="left"]Ideal applicantsshould have a strong programming background in web development and datavisualization as well as some level of interest in China’s philanthropicdevelopment. - Experience with full stack web development, using PHP, Python, Javascript,Postgres, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.
- Good understanding of version control system like Git.
- Experience designing, developing, and using RESTful APIs
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
