Dr. Jiang's quantitative research centers around two areas: (1) statistical learning and (2) structural equation modeling (SEM). In statistical learning, she studies regularization methods (lasso, ridge, elastic net) in clustering analysis. In SEM, she studies test statistics, robust estimation methods, and equivalence testing. Practically, Dr. Jiang is interested in developing software packages to facilitate the usage of quantitative methods in social science.
