问个傻问题 关于申请master的essay

在申请的学校上要求上传申请文书，那栏直接叫的essay
看了看要求是这样的:

Please attach to the application a brief narrative outlining your academic interests. Include any current or long-range interests in research, teaching or other professional objectives.
If you have progressed far enough in your career to have publications or other evidence of scholarly endeavor, please describe these.

知道PS和SOP有区别的， 想请问一下这里应该写哪种然后提交上去比较好呢？
