Dr. Qiben Yan’s lab in Michigan State University has multiple Ph.D. TA/RA openings starting from Spring 2020. The successful candidates are expected to work on cutting-edge research areas in Wireless Communications and Cyber Security, including wireless IoT networking, IoT and mobile security, blockchain, malware defense, and privacy. Candidates with EE, CS or other relevant backgrounds will be considered. A solid background in either of the following will be a plus: wireless communications & networking, security/cryptography, data mining/machine learning, optimization, or strong system implementation skills.
