Postdoc position @ UMass Amherst

I am looking for a sharp postdoctoral researcher to join a new project on machine learning over distributed IoT involving a combination of deep learning (and other ML techniques), low-power embedded systems, and wireless communications. The post doc is at the University of Massachusetts Amherst working with Prof. Deepak Ganesan and would join an interdisciplinary team of machine learning, systems, and wireless networking researchers. The project also involves collaboration with colleagues in other universities including UCLA and UIUC, as well as researchers at ARL.

The candidate must have finished his or her Ph.D in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and have a strong research record. Ideal candidates will also have experience/interest in topics related to the project including machine learning, embedded computing, machine learning, mobile/ubiquitous computing, and have strong systems research experience in addition to student mentoring, or project management.
