预约了10点，9点半到了领事馆，然后排了很久的队，估计10点15才进去，应该这个预约时间是不定的，所以预约了十点9点进去都没问题，大家还是赶早吧，不要像我一样急急忙忙。
因为2011年下半年去了美国交换半年，而且奇妙的是作为交换生我居然那时候也是持的F1的Visa，总之稀里糊涂就过了的。所以这次申请算是返签吧，护照上有上次的美国F1 VISA，三次日本临时入境签证（都是去找女朋友办的，时限15天）。
一切流程照旧，先在窗口查看了我的I20，SEVIS缴费确认单，DS160确认单。给了我一张号。然后就是过安检，把水壶里面的水倒光了，交了手机，进入房间按指纹。然后就排队等着面签了。
VO看样子是local中年男士，对话如下：
VO:Hello
Me:Good Morning, I'm applying for F1 Visa
VO:Which school are you going to study?
Me:Purdue, Purdue University
VO:Which Degree?
Me:Master degree
VO:Purdue for 2 years master degree huh?
Me:Yes
VO:You are studying computer science in Hong Kong Baptist University ?
Me:Yes, computer science
VO:When will you graduate from HKBU?
Me:The end of this month
VO:Will you have specific research are?
Me:Yes, I will focus on information retrieval
VO:Who will support you? Oh, seems you have assistantship, do you have any proof?
Me:Yes, this is my offer letter
VO:You are approved, you can get your visa on this friday
Me:Thank you very much, so I can leave now?
VO:Yes, you may leave now
Me:Have a nice day!
VO:You too
整个过五分钟之内搞定，都是我说一句他就敲一阵键盘，非常顺利. 我有意隐去了machine learning, 还有我过去那边会做的和privacy有关的project，据说都是有可能被check的点，比如ML和AI扯上了关系，Privacy就更别提了，跟Security扯上关系的都别提最好
