Hello, this is Zhichao Lu, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong (CityU). I am constantly looking for people with strong programming skills to work on problems at the intersection of deep learning and computational intelligence. A brief bio: I received both Bachelor and Ph.D degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University under the supervision of Prof. Kalyanmoy Deb. In the broad context of AI, my current research focuses on the intersections of evolutionary computation, learning, and optimization, notably on developing efficient and automated ML/DL algorithms and systems, with the overarching goal of making AI accessible to everyone.
