CPT学分忘记给学校申请了会影响续签之类的么

暑假做实习，联系了advisor，advisor理解做CPT压根不是什么学术项目，可以play a little game，说我注册1分的pass/fail course，然后这1分并不会影响到我总共33分的学位，因为我所有的课程都是3分的。
当时我去申CPT的时候也有点晚了，隐约记得早前在邮件里看到一封register office发的邮件说是要注册暑期research或者CPT等学分的发信告诉他。因为还忙着办ssn和七七八八的这些事加上去实习了也比较累，回头来实习都结束了突然想起来学分忘记注册了.....
我查了查cpt相关的信息，cpt貌似也只是和学校的international house有关，信息存在sevis里……
想问问这1分没有留在档案里的话（忘记向学校注册了）会不会有什么不好的影响啊？比如影响续签……OPT申请什么的.....
另外我反复的看了n遍advisor给我的信。。。我突然有点不明白他说的意思了。。。

I understand that the government regulations require that there be a credit attached to this activity. But of course it is not really an academic activity, so we have to play a little game.
What I can do: you can register for this as a one-credit pass/fail class. It will not count towards your 33 credits for the degree. But note that that doesn't really matter since all other courses are 3 credits, so a graded one-credit wouldn't decreasethe number of regular courses you would have to take.
