The Multimedia Networking & Computing Lab at University of Cincinnati has one PhD opening in Fall 2024. The student will work with Prof. Rui Dai on a research project in immersive multimedia streaming for AR/VR and digital twin applications.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
1) Solid knowledge in one or more of the following areas: image processing and computer vision, multimedia communications, mobile and wireless networks, and machine learning.
2) Previous research experience and publications in a related area.
3) Good programming and communication skills.
Students with backgrounds in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science are all welcome to apply.
