MS.AD [EE@UCI] 只给两周时间考虑+财产证明要求6个月？！

EE MS AD @ UCI, 今天刚在status上查到的，没有邮件通知.开头说一堆什么1400多人申请，录取率低于15%没用的话，然后最可恨的话就来了：
1、关于deadline
“Should you decide to accept this offer, please email your acceptance to 1point3acres.com within two weeks of receiving this notice. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume that you will be unable to attend in Fall 2011.”不给钱还只给两周的时间考虑，这也太紧了吧，我还10个学校没信呢，希望有经验的前辈指导一下，这个时间能不能拖长点儿？
2、关于财产证明
“you will be required to show proof of financial support in the amount of $45,939 for the nine-month academic year beginning mid-September 2011.”这挺正常，关键是6个月的有效期：“The financial verification documents you submit for this purpose should be recent, and must be valid for at least 6 months from the day they are received.”我还没让爸妈开财产证明呢。。。那现在去开得开到9月份了？求前辈指导，谢谢！
