招受materials simulations 博士后和PhD student, University of South Carolina

本课题组 在University of South Carolina招收博士生和博士后(各1名)。课题的研究方向是生物模拟计算。

(1) 博士生职位 (生物医药工程): 研究方向是生物或者材料计算模拟和实验，machine learning相结合。
提供全奖 ，年工资$30,000，学费免除。2024年秋季或者2025年春季入学。
基本要求：

1. 有quantum, atomistic or coarse grained molecular dynamics simualtions 或者 machine learning 研究经验

1. 数学基础好的理工科本科生或者硕士生，都可以申请。
2. 能熟悉C++, C, Fortran或者Python， 有一定的编程基础 ；

4. Tofel的最低分是 80, or IELTS 最低分 6.5; GRE不要求；GPA > 3.2;

(2) 博士后或者Scientist 职位：课题方向是生物材料或者纳米材料模拟计算。博士后年工资是$57k-60k, 初始工作期限1-2年. 入职时间flexible：2024年夏天，秋天或者冬天。
Required qualifications:
1) Expertise in QM/MM, AIMD, Neural Network MD, coarse-grained MD, DPD simulations, or/and kinetic Monte Carlo.
2) Expertise in the simulations of interfacial redox and electron transfer, enzyme reactions, polymers, or/and nanoparticles
3) Good programming skills

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
(1) experience in the quantum software (QChem, CP2K, Quantum Expresso or VASP)
(2) expertise in Machine learning or the development of coarse-grained forcefiled parameters would be a plus.
