Thank you for applying to the Ph.D. program in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. We regret that we were not able to admit you to the program at this time.
As I am sure you are aware, admission to our graduate program is highly competitive. We received over 2300 applications from highly qualified applicants from all over the world to fill only approximately 250 available openings in our graduate program. We had many applicants with outstanding credentials and we wish we could have offer admission to a larger number of them. Our admission decisions are based on a number of factors including the qualifications of the students, the letters of recommendation, and the availability of resources such as financial aid in a particular field of study.
We wish you the best of luck as you continue to seek other opportunities to reach your ultimate educational goals.
还有十几所PhD没出结果，都是EE/ECE：Cornell, Caltech, USC, UCLA, UCSD, UTAustin, Rice, Columbia, UPenn, NWU, UMich, CMU, UW。其中Cornell, Columbia, UCLA, Caltech, Umich有降MS的可能性。
以及几个MS没结果：USC, CMU, Yale, Berkeley(Meng)
现在Gatech拒了，说明科研水是包装不了的。陶瓷不给力，无面试。
现在大S给了AD，所以剩下的MS如果来了我会尽快decline造福大众
PhD来不来无所谓了，我都基本决定去S读MS了，看看能不能中途转PhD，或者就毕业直接工作吧。。问题就是我现在也搞不清楚适不适合学术，因为感觉自己都没真正进入学术圈。。求指点
