早上起来查邮箱看到的，昨晚刚被U virginia拒了，今早就来个安慰奖，还是很开心的{:4_112:}
package是18000的TA+tuition waive+health insurance，昨天看到地里有的小伙伴拿到sbu的offer以为自己没戏了，今天看来是昨天发的offer有6000usd的fellowship奖，今天发的offer应该没这个6000usd
还有几个问题希望了解情况的小伙伴解答下：
1. offer感觉钱好少。。。所以想问问有没有知情的小伙伴知道18000在长岛一年真的够用吗{:4_105:}
2. 另外offer letter里面说
In addition, a number of opportunities for summer support exist in our department. This support (typically
$10,000 per summer) is usually available in the form of research assistantship positions funded by the individual
faculty members. In recent years, over 90 percent of students who entered the PhD program without firm
summer commitments were still able to obtain funding in their first summer, typically in the form of Research
Assistantships. To secure this type of support, I encourage you to join one of the research groups in your areas
of interests beginning with your first semester at Stony Brook.
这个真的有90%的新生能在第一年暑假找到能赚10000 usd的ra么？
3. offer letter里面还说
Health insurance: Health insurance benefits are available under the SUNY Student Employee Health Plan
(SEHP). Under this plan, the State will pay 88% of the cost of individual coverage and 73% of additional pre-
mium cost for dependents. For more information visit the Graduate Student Employment website at http:
//www.stonybrook.edu/hr/benefits/state/student.shtml.
这个的意思是 我还需要自己负担一部分医疗保险吗？
