请问一般套磁教授多久会回？

Lz最近套了一个Umich的教授，稍微扯了点学术的东西，然后也把简历附上了，但是过了两三天一直没有消息，还有也联系了教授组里的一个博士生，中国的，也没有回我。请问一下一般多久能回我？还有如果一直没有消息，适不适合再发一封问一问？
对了，教授网页里还有这些话。意思是有兴趣可以联系他，这样比一般的录取几率大，这里的意思是鼓励套磁的貌似- -
