1st Rej @Princeton

今天收到Princeton的邮件"While I assure you that the materials you submitted were carefully reviewed by the faculty in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, I regret to inform you that the department did not recommend your admission for the coming academic year." 这是我8张彩票中 第2个出结果的。
从我一开始申请，就知道这个纯属买彩票。被拒是意料之中的，主要原因如下：
1 Princeton官网说PhD但凡录取一定会给funding，所以没有像UT等学校那样有大量AD的机会。
2 虽然Princeton在我们专业专排只有24，但是毕竟综排第一。这种偏文科的顶级名校往往对英语要求很高，而我的雅思成绩恰恰是个很大的弱势。
Anyway，这只当是致敬综排第一了。就算最后去的是保底校，至少美国梦还在。
