“Thank you for your interest in the Materials Science & Engineering program at the University of Delaware. We received your application and it is marked complete. We received many applications for the fall semester. The Committee admitted a number of applicants so far. Unfortunately, you are on a waiting list and I do not have a specific order of where you are on this list. If admitted students do not accept our offer by the April 15th deadline date, we will extend those offers to students on the waiting list. You will receive an email from us letting you know our decision by the end of April at the latest.”
